ROCK3 Rentals (“ROCK3,” “we,” “us”) rents equipment from 2500 Mira Mar Ave., Long Beach, CA 90815. This policy explains what personal information we collect through rock3.rent, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Quote and contact requests: your name, email, phone, company, job title, jobsite or delivery address, requested dates, the equipment you selected, and any notes you write.
- Customer accounts: your email address and a password (stored only as a one-way hash), plus the account tier we assign you.
- Sign in with Google or Microsoft: if you choose it, the provider tells us your name, email address, whether that email is verified, and a unique account identifier. We receive no password, contacts, files or other account data, and we request only the “openid,” “email” and “profile” permissions.
- Site activity: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, general mouse movement, device and browser type, and the name you enter on the access screen if one is shown. We use this to see how the site is used and to improve it.
- Cookies: small files that keep you signed in, keep your equipment cart and rental plan, and recognize a returning visitor. A short-lived security cookie is also set while you sign in with Google or Microsoft.
How we use it
- To answer your request, confirm availability, prepare quotes and arrange delivery, pickup and billing.
- To create and secure your account and show account pricing.
- To keep the site secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To understand and improve how the site and catalog are used.
- To meet legal, tax and recordkeeping obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, under their own terms: website hosting (WP Engine), email delivery, and the sign-in provider you choose (Google or Microsoft). Where equipment is supplied or delivered by a partner, we share the details needed to fulfill your order. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights, customers and the public.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests, rental records and account information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet business, tax and legal requirements. Site activity data is kept only as long as it is useful for analysis. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Security
We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords and access controls. No online service is completely secure, so please do not put sensitive personal information (such as government IDs or payment card numbers) in quote notes.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. If you are a California resident, you have these rights under California law, and we will not discriminate against you for using them. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site (the cart, sign-in) may stop working. To disconnect Google or Microsoft sign-in, remove ROCK3 from your Google or Microsoft account’s connected apps.
Children
This site is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date above.
